Hi, I’m Candice!

An art educator who helps artists get unstuck and make real progress.

For years, I was stuck copying references and doing studies without actually improving. That’s why I made it my mission to help other artists avoid wasting years the way I did.

By studying with professional artists and documenting my own learning journey, I discovered how powerful intentional practice and consistent feedback can be.

Now I help artists find clarity in their art process, as a guide who’s a few steps ahead and remembers how confusing that stage can feel.

If you’re ready to make real progress in your art, you’re in the right place :)

Ways We Can Work Together

I offer a few different ways to get personalized guidance depending on the level of support you're looking for.

Feeling stuck in your art?

You might relate to this:

• Doing lots of studies but not improving

• Not knowing what to practice next

• Getting conflicting advice from tutorials

• Feeling stuck at the same skill level

Most artists don’t lack talent.

They lack clear direction and feedback.

This is where 1-on-1 guidance makes a difference.

Instead of guessing what to practice, we’ll identify the specific skills that are holding you back and focus on improving them step by step.

Each session is personalized to your goals, level, and artistic interests.

Who is it for?

This is a good fit if you:

✓ feel stuck and want clearer direction
✓ want feedback on your artwork
✓ are a beginner or intermediate artist
✓ are willing to practice between sessions

What we can work on

• Practicing facial structure and human anatomy
• Color and lighting
• Character stylization and shape design
• Improving your study process
• Building a more effective practice routine

Students will receive personalized feedback based on their current level and goals.

Anna Cheng⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After finishing my first class, I thought it was great! Before the lesson, I shared the kind of art style I liked. During the class, she guided me step by step to draw a face. I don’t really have any art fundamentals, but I was still able to keep up with the pace of the class. 😀

Jillian Chen⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The teacher keeps track of my progress and gives exercises to help me practice specific techniques. She checks on my progress every step of the way. Great interaction during the class!
